Mark and Rob have blisters on their hands of removing nails from the floor of the new shop. Construction is in full effect and we hope to do a grand opening the 1st of September or the 1st of October maybe together with the release of the new Swatch-clopedia.
Yes, we're working on a new Clopedia. Hans Van Buuren is now working every evening on creating a new lay out and we wish him loads of luck and free time. :-)

This week we received two collections. A small one and a reasonably big one of 200 watches. You can see the results in the new entries.

On March 1, 1983 the first Swatch watch officially went for sale. The sales started with a launch in Zürich. After 25 years we're still enjoying the fun, elegance and design of our favorite Swatch watches.

Squiggly is walking on Memory Lane. A Street of Swatch watches that can be considered a Swatch Memory. Every week a member of the Swatch-Clopedia forum has the opportunity to take out five watches of this list, and enter 5 new ones.

1994

Magnitudo GK170 is replaced by Sole Mio GM124. A painting on your wrist, that's what I think when I wear it. I went to Napoli arriving by boat and seeing the volcano like the dial, and it was touched.

1995

Blauer GN707 is replaced by Silver Plate GM129. A new way to read the time. I just look the dial for the dial and a aproximation of the time. I smile when somebody tries to find out what time it is on my watch.

1998

This special packaging was released in Germany only and only 2,500 numbered sets were made. Inside the black cardboard box you find the classic Swatch watch Espresso and two espresso cups and saucers with the Swatch brand printed on it.

2000

Snowcovered GK 733 is replaced by Got a Letter GI401. A smiling postman is coming with you. It makes me feeling happy, and I look the letter going around.

a. New line: Chrono Plastic

"a new plastic chrono line (with bigger watches) will be released soon..".

Very soon (one or two weeks) in some countries (certainly in Austria and Switzerland, maybe Italy and Holland, who knows France too ?) the first of the new line Chrono Plastics will be available There are 6 models (2 black, 1 white,1blue,1orange,1yellow) They have a diametre of 41 mm and are 11 mm thick. Originally the launch-date was set for july 15th.

On June 16, 2008, Swatch the Club Austria invited ist members to the yearly "come together". This time 2 watches made the Come Together Special, one in Austrian design (SUJK121E), the other in Swiss design (SUJK121D) - since both countries are hosting the Euro 2008.
