Until last week we indeed didn't have white straps, but after 1 year(!!!) of trying and talking etc, we have finally received our first shipment of replica white straps. Finally we can give those old white watches a second life.

We have found a factory that has made for us a good quality strap in the perfect color off-white, suitable for most white Swatch watches. The quality of the straps what we are used to from Swatch. Not the cheap stuff you find on Ebay made with bald molds.

The material is a little bit more silicone than plastic. The man of the factory has told me they do this to make the strap last longer and to keep the color better. For now I believe him and we will see what the responses are from the customers.

As we mentioned in section 4, we received some good white swatch replica straps for you old GW-Gent watches. We've got some original white watch heads in a tray for years, whitout straps. We've mounted straps on them and put them in the refurbished section.

a. Frankfurt Store Opening special
A new Swatch Store has opened its doors in Frankfurt, Germany, in the heart of the city:  Neue Kräme 25-27.  It is the first Swatch store in Germany featuring the new Ice Dunes concept. Information and pictures can be found in Michael's website.

1. Renault announce TW Steel deal
The Renault F1 Team is delighted to announce the signing of a three-year partnership with TW Steel, the Dutch watchmaker, which will become the official timing partner of the team. The partnership will come into effect from this weekend’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and will run until the end of the 2012 season. The R29 will carry TW Steel branding on the nose cone, the front wing flaps, as well as on the leading edge of the sidepods. Logos will also appear on timing monitors and on team uniforms and drivers’ suits from 2010. More info...
