Welcome to the last Squiggly Newsletter of 2009.
Welcome.
2009 has been an exciting year for Squiggly. We have had our ups and downs like every company has had in this year of crisis, but we have finished the year with a bang creating a turnover that is bigger than 2008. We can only be satisfied with this result.
Besides this we have created a newborn with mastersintime.com. Once we have developed this web site to its full potential, I'm sure it will become a nice big sister for squiggly.com
Staff.
I would like to wish all the people that work for Squiggly and have worked for Squiggly a great 2010. Your effort has created this beautiful place to work and I hope we can continue to create smiles on peoples faces.
Rob Verteeg.
Building.
Rob has bought the building next door, which was a wreck. Work has already started and by the end of next year we will more than double the work area to 700 m2 with state of the art "green" heating and cooling. When the building next door is ready we will have a stockroom for watches, three times the size we have now. :-)
Shop.
Our shop is becoming a great place for local people to come for direct service. More and more people find our shop. Nevertheless is the shop just a very small part of the Squiggly company.
Software.
In 2009 we have hired a new staffmember Jerrel. We're very glad he came as he has doubled the time we have for software development. Alex will continue to work for us as he built our system from scratch, but with Jerrel we hope to speed up our developments. The first thing you will actually see will be in January 2010 with a fully automated newsletter!
